Getting to Ottawa
By Air

By Train or Bus
VIA Rail is Canada’s passenger train service and GreyHound is Canada’s bus service. VIA Rail provides convenient daily train service to other major centres and both the downtown VIA train station and the downtown Greyhound bus terminal are located minutes from the University of Ottawa.
Getting to downtown Ottawa from the airport
Take the airport shuttle bus to all downtown hotels. The bus departs every 1/2 hour daily. A cab ride is about $25 one way. Public transit via Route 97 leaves the airport approximately every 20 minutes. All major car rental agencies are located at the airport. With the downtown location of the University of Ottawa, you may not need a car.
